9/5/2010 – Professor Suzy Kim is our neighbor

Dr. Suzy Kim is an assistant professor of Korean Studies newly appointed at Rutgers University starting this fall. She received her Ph.D. degree at the University of Chicago. Her current research focuses on the North Korean social history, particularly the mass mobilization in everyday village life from 1945 to 1950. Her teaching and research interests include gender studies, oral history, and social theory of Korea.
