On May 30, Founding members and friends of KCCP gathered together for a powerful swing in Heren Glen twoard a brighter future. Under the theme of Golfing Toward a Brighter Future, 60 golfers raised approximately $5,000 and doubled that amount in the goodwill of KCCP to build a future home for Korean in Princeton.
The highlights of the day were the Hole-in-Hole contest and the award ceremony. 10 final contestants competed and Mr. Yongkeun Joh, a founding member, won $2,500 at his third trial and donated the whole amount to the KCCP. At the award ceremony, over $15,000 value of gifts were given away for the best driver, the best female driver, and other contestants. To enjoy the photos of the day, please check our photo gallery.
Known as a volunteer-driven mangagement, KCCP is proud to share that Golfing Toward A Brighter Future was prepared and run by dedicated members’ volunteer effort and expertise. John Kim, a founding member, took the lead in coordinating this year’s golf outing with other members such as Inhyuk Cha, Jaewan Kim,Katie Lee, and Minkyu Lee. Ms. Chiho Nonaka and Ms. Sandi Liu from Bloomberg volunteered for the KCCP as friends.
Local business friends also supported this year’s golf outing with generous sponsorship.
